Quintauris and Everspin have announced a strategic partnership to integrate advanced memory solutions into the Quintauris ecosystem. The collaboration targets the development of reliable and safe RISC-V–based platforms for automotive, industrial, and edge applications, where data persistence, integrity, low latency, and security are essential.
The partnership combines Everspin’s MRAM technologies with Quintauris’ reference architectures and real-time platforms to address performance and functional safety requirements in safety-critical markets. Everspin’s MRAM, with over 200 million units deployed, supports automotive applications through certifications, manufacturing standards, long-term supply, and ongoing quality improvements, aligning with Quintauris’ goal of making RISC-V viable for automotive programs.
Pedro Lopez, Market Strategy Officer at Quintauris, stated that the collaboration addresses the need for dependable RISC-V solutions in next-generation automotive programs. David Schrenk, VP of Business Development at Everspin, noted that their MRAM ensures data integrity under challenging conditions like power loss, radiation, or extreme temperatures, while maintaining speed and security, thus supporting scalable platforms for automotive electronics.
