Analog Devices announced the launch of ADVentures (ADV), a corporate venture capital fund aimed at investing in early-stage startups. The fund will focus on three domains: Advanced Systems & Robotics, Climate & Energy, and Human Health. Investment areas include new sensing modalities, computing architectures, secure connectivity, and artificial intelligence. Analog Devices is 2nd biggest vendor in precision analog semiconductor market.
ADI, a semiconductor company with 60 years of experience in analog, digital, software, and AI technologies, will use ADV to support global startups. The initiative is ADI’s first company-wide venture capital program, led by Kimberly Blakemore as Head of ADVentures. Stephanie Sidelko, Vice President and Head of Strategy at ADI, stated that the fund will combine ADI’s expertise with startup innovation to address complex global challenges.
