China based GigaDevice, a semiconductor company focused on Flash memory, 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs), sensors, and analog products, has signed a distribution agreement with SEMITRON, an electronic component distributor operating primarily in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
The agreement allows SEMITRON to distribute GigaDevice's Flash, MCU, power, and sensor product lines. SEMITRON will also provide field application engineering support, professional test house services, technical expertise, and local on-site support to customers in the industrial, automotive, and communication technology sectors.
This agreement extends GigaDevice's presence in the European market, specifically through local support in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Jürgen Rohland, Managing Director of SEMITRON W. Röck GmbH, stated that the partnership with GigaDevice complements SEMITRON's existing portfolio and creates opportunities for customers across various applications.
