Analog Devices announced the opening of a new advanced manufacturing facility in Thailand. The facility, located in Chonburi, expands ADI's manufacturing and test capacity in the Asia-Pacific region. It supports the company's hybrid manufacturing strategy, which combines internal factories with external foundry and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) partners.

Thailand serves as a key site in ADI's global manufacturing network. The site, established in 2000 as Analog Devices Thailand (ADTH), functions as a major backend operation for markets including industrial, automotive, communications, consumer, and digital healthcare.
The new facility increases cleanroom and manufacturing space, adding capacity for test operations, wafer-level processing, chip scale packaging, and final IC testing. It incorporates advanced automation, digital manufacturing technologies, and operations focused on efficiency and environmental performance.
Vincent Roche, CEO and Chair of Analog Devices, stated that Thailand remains a strategic hub in the company's global footprint. He noted the expansion reflects a long-term commitment to the region for reliable and sustainable delivery of technology.
Vivek Jain, Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Technology at ADI, said the facility improves test operations efficiency. He cited Thailand's engineering talent, supply chain position, and support for long-term growth as factors in building an agile and resilient network.
The site is positioned in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), which provides infrastructure, skilled talent access, and a stable environment.
The facility aligns with LEED standards and is the first in ADI's network intended for Platinum LEED certification. It includes energy-efficient systems, resource optimization, water recycling, real-time environmental monitoring, and adoption of low-carbon liquid nitrogen for testing—the first such use by a semiconductor manufacturer in Thailand.
ADI supports talent development in Thailand through the ADI Thailand Academy, university partnerships, internship programs, and training in test engineering, automation, failure analysis, and smart factory technologies.
The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Vincent Roche and Wirat Sri-amonkitkul, Managing Director of Analog Devices Thailand.
