Navitas and GigaDevice partner to accelerate GaN & SiC adoption in high efficiency power platforms

Navitas has announced a strategic partnership with GigaDevice. This collaboration aims to create a joint R&D laboratory to accelerate the adoption of GaN and SiC technologies in AI data centers, electric vehicles, solar energy, and energy storage systems.
The partnership will integrate Navitas’ GaNFast ICs with GigaDevice’s advanced MCUs to develop high-frequency, high-efficiency, and high-density power solutions. This joint effort is expected to drive significant advancements in intelligent and efficient power management, leveraging the strengths of both companies in IC design, manufacturing, and system-level application expertise.
 Joint R&D Laboratory: The new lab will focus on integrating Navitas’ GaNFast technology with GigaDevice’s high-performance MCUs to create innovative power solutions for various high-power markets.
Enhanced Power Conversion: The collaboration aims to optimize power conversion systems, making them faster, lighter, and more compact, with improved processing speeds and I/O capabilities.
Market Applications: Targeted applications include AI data centers, EVs, solar energy systems, and ESS, where high-efficiency and high-density power solutions are critical.
Strategic Vision: The partnership aligns with Navitas’ mission to ‘Electrify Our World’ and GigaDevice’s focus on advancing digital power systems for greener and more efficient industry development.
