Elektrotec 2026 Opens in Coimbatore with Focus on Electrical, Industrial Electronics, Renewable Energy and Electric Mobility

The 8th edition of Elektrotec 2026 opened today at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex. Organised by CODISSIA Intec Technology Centre, the four-day exhibition runs from August 21 to 24 and features more than 400 companies presenting products and technologies in electrical and industrial electronics, renewable energy, power electronics and electric mobility.

The inauguration was attended by industry leaders and professionals. Chief Guest Dr. G. A. Patanjali, Managing Director of High Energy Batteries (India) Ltd, spoke on the need to adopt innovation while giving equal attention to good health in order to benefit from technological progress.

Mr. Vidyanand, Secretary of CODISSIA, thanked exhibitors, visitors and industry stakeholders for their participation and support.

Elektrotec is held alongside REnERGy Coimbatore 2026 and RE Vehicle Expo 2026. Together the events present technologies in renewable energy, energy storage, electric vehicles and industrial automation.

Among the exhibitors is Ciyes Systems, which is displaying the Maxpran respiratory system, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), EV charging solutions and power electronics technologies that include three-phase inverters and universal solar controllers.

Senthil Kumar, Marketing Head of Ciyes Systems, said: “Exhibitions such as Elektrotec provide an excellent platform to demonstrate indigenous technologies, connect with industry and understand emerging market requirements. Our focus is on developing practical, innovative solutions that support India's journey towards self-reliance and Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
