Everspin Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of MRAM persistent memory technology, has appointed Vikas Choudhary to its board of directors, effective August 10, 2026.
Choudhary has held a range of executive roles spanning engineering, product strategy, sales, and general management over his career. He currently serves as senior vice president and general manager of the Connectivity and Storage Business Unit at MaxLinear, where he's responsible for business and product strategy for next-generation solutions serving data center, cloud networking, and enterprise markets.
Sanjeev Aggarwal, president and CEO of Everspin, said Choudhary brings a valuable perspective on data center and AI infrastructure, along with more than three decades of experience in semiconductor operations and general management. He said Choudhary's experience will be particularly useful as Everspin works to expand adoption of its STT-MRAM products, a type of MRAM technology, in data center and AI applications.
Before joining MaxLinear in 2024, Choudhary served as vice president of marketing and sales at pSemi Corporation, a Murata company, where he oversaw growth across consumer mobile, connectivity, wireless infrastructure, and other high-performance component markets. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Texas Instruments, PMC-Sierra (later Microsemi), and Analog Devices, and began his career in semiconductors as a mixed-signal designer at STMicroelectronics.
Choudhary said the demands placed on memory are changing quickly, particularly in data center and AI infrastructure, and that this shift creates an important opportunity for Everspin. He said he's looking forward to bringing his industry and customer perspective to the board as the company works to expand adoption of its MRAM technology.
Choudhary holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
The appointment follows the retirement of Lawrence Finch from Everspin's board of directors, effective August 4, 2026.
