Valeo's entry highlights the influence of its patents on industry standards beyond sheer volume. Valeo allocates approximately 10.9% of its annual sales to research and development, corresponding to around 2.3 billion euros in 2025. The company maintains over 32,000 active patents and operates a global network of 59 R&D centers, with increasing contributions from its Asia-based facilities for international deployment of inventions.
