VeriSilicon ISP8200-FS Series IP Gains ISO 26262 ASIL B Certification for Automotive ADAS

VeriSilicon  announced on February 5, 2026, that its enhanced ISP8200-FS series Image Signal Processing (ISP) IP specifically the ISP8200-ES and ISP8200L-ES versions—has received ISO 26262 ASIL B functional safety certification from TÜV NORD. The certification applies to the enhanced IPs, which feature improved performance and energy efficiency for complex automotive camera systems in ADAS and autonomous driving applications.

The ISP8200-FS series operates at up to 1.2 GHz and supports data processing from up to 16 image sensors. It provides multi-camera scheduling with flexible data-access capabilities and efficient hardware pipeline utilization.

The series integrates technologies such as Color Noise Reduction (CNR), radial Lens Shading Correction (LSC), and RGB-IR enhanced processing supporting formats like RGB-IR 4×4. These features contribute to image stability and detail preservation in multi-camera, multi-view scenarios.

It includes a built-in RAW Data Compression (RDC) engine and 64-bit AXI address extension to improve bandwidth efficiency and reduce data transmission load while maintaining image quality.

When combined with the automotive functional safety-certified DeWarp Processing IP DW200-FS, the enhanced ISP8200-FS series enables a high-quality, compliant, low-bandwidth automotive ADAS camera subsystem for multi-camera perception.
