The JEDEC Board of Directors presented its 2026 Distinguished Executive Leadership Award to Antonio Neri, President and CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), during a ceremony on February 3, 2026, at HPE’s office near Houston, Texas.
The award is JEDEC’s highest honor and recognizes senior executives in the electronics industry who promote and support the advancement of JEDEC standards.
Mian Quddus, Chairman of the JEDEC Board of Directors, stated that JEDEC recognizes Neri for his dedication to standards development initiatives spanning more than a decade of leadership and service. He noted that HPE continues to play a vital role in advancing JEDEC standards for memory and storage, which are essential to industry growth, interoperability, and innovation.
Neri has served as HPE CEO since February 2018. During his tenure, HPE has undergone transformation from a legacy hardware provider to a partner focused on the AI era, positioning the company in areas such as generative and agentic AI to help customers optimize performance, transform data, and increase impact.
