TDK has added the BCL3520FT-R47M-D to its BCL3520FT series of small power inductors for automotive power circuits. Mass production of the series started in December 2025.
The new inductor measures 3.3 × 3.5 × 2.0 mm and is intended for power supply circuits in automotive ECUs, including ADAS, xEV, and camera module applications.
The BCL3520FT-R47M-D has an inductance of 0.47 µH (±20 %) at 1 MHz, DC resistance of 5.0 mΩ typical, rated current (Isat) of 10 A typical (30 % inductance drop), and rated current (Itemp) of 11.6 A typical (40 K temperature rise). Withstand voltage is 40 V. Operating temperature range extends to +155 °C maximum.
The component uses metallic magnetic material and a flat wire winding. It is qualified to AEC-Q200.
