Tobin Richardson, Alliance President and CEO, noted that Bosch’s experience in deploying products at scale and focus on connectivity aligns with the Alliance’s goals. Musa Unmehopa, Chair of the Alliance Board, stated that Bosch’s industry experience will support the development of scalable interoperability solutions. Hartwig emphasized Bosch’s commitment to collaboration, highlighting the company’s experience in developing and shipping millions of connected devices and its focus on practical solutions for energy management and ecosystem support to ensure the Matter standard meets the needs of sophisticated appliances and systems.

The Alliance, established in 2002, collaborates with its global membership to create open IoT standards.
