Apple has announced Apple Home Collection, a lineup of smart home accessories including cameras, thermostats, temperature sensors, a video doorbell and a door lock—designed with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. The products set up with one tap on iPhone and are managed through the Apple Home app, with no separate app or account required; home data is encrypted end-to-end.

The collection builds on the thousands of Works with Apple Home and Matter accessories available today. Products can work independently or together, and can be controlled through the Home app and Siri. Key features of Apple Home Collection include one-tap setup with iPhone; Thread support; automatic updates to network credentials when a home Wi-Fi network changes; and end-to-end encryption of Home app data.

LG’s four-camera lineup captures up to 2.5K resolution video and recognizes people, familiar faces, pets, vehicles and packages. Each camera works with iCloud+ for 10 days of event video history. On eligible iCloud+ plans, Apple Intelligence can provide automatic video descriptions and let users search footage using natural, descriptive language. Built-in storage keeps cameras recording during Wi-Fi outages. The Video Doorbell has dual cameras, with the front camera capturing 2.5K resolution video and the bottom camera capturing full HD resolution; the Floodlight Cam has adaptive dual floodlights, while the Outdoor Cam and Indoor Cam offer low-light color night vision. The Indoor Cam tilts to adjust its view and stops monitoring when the first household member returns.

The LG Smart Deadbolt Lock uses Ultra Wideband technology to detect when a user with a home key on a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch approaches, unlocking the door automatically. It also supports unlocking by tap, an integrated PIN pad or a hidden backup key slot. The lock is Matter compatible, supports Aliro and operates locally so core access functions continue without an internet connection.

LG Electronics and Schneider Electric each offer a Smart Thermostat. Adaptive Temperature in the Home app uses on-device intelligence from iPhone to adjust the thermostats based on whether someone is home, winding down at night or away. Both thermostats and the companies’ temperature and humidity sensors are Matter compatible, support a broad range of HVAC systems and include on-device wire detection to simplify installation. In the contiguous U.S., Clean Energy Guidance can shift heating and cooling to cleaner, lower-cost periods for users with a compatible utility plan.

Matthew Costello, Apple’s vice president of Hardware Engineering, said: “Apple Home Collection makes it easy to choose smart home accessories with confidence. Working closely with industry leaders LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, we designed every accessory to work seamlessly with Apple Home, so managing your home is simple, reliable, and private.”

Apple Home Collection will be available starting in December at apple.com/store, in the Apple Store app and at Apple Store locations, with select accessories available starting early 2027. In the U.S., the LG Video Doorbell Wired starts at $249.95, LG Floodlight Cam at $399.95, LG Outdoor Cam Plug-In at $299.95, LG Indoor Cam Plug-In at $199.95 and LG Smart Deadbolt Lock at $349.95. The LG Smart Thermostat and Schneider Home Smart Thermostat each start at $199.95; LG Temperature Sensor and Schneider Home Room Sensor each start at $39.95. Apple Retail also offers third-party installation from ADT for an additional charge in the U.S. starting this fall.
