Digi International announced the launch of Digi Connect EZ 4 TS and Digi Connect EZ 8 TS, next-generation serial device servers. The EZ TS family is designed to help organizations modernize legacy serial infrastructure with enhanced security and centralized management without requiring enclosure or wiring changes. It builds on the current Digi Connect EZ platform and provides a transition path for existing ConnectPort TS and PortServer TS deployments, while adding capabilities for current IT and OT requirements.
Serial connectivity remains essential in industrial automation, robotics, retail POS, kiosks, and embedded systems. Many deployments lack the security and remote access features needed in modern environments. The Digi Connect EZ TS enables organizations to securely connect and manage legacy serial devices over IP networks without replacing existing equipment.

The devices support secure modernization of legacy serial infrastructure, remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and firmware updates. They provide compliance with enterprise security standards including TLS, FIPS, VPN, RADIUS, and TACACS+.
Management options include SOC 2 Type validated Digi Remote Manager for secure cloud-based deployment and monitoring with 99.9%+ uptime, and Digi On-Prem Manager for air-gapped environments.
