Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation announced on February 25, 2026, the release of four voltage-driven photorelays: TLP3407SRB, TLP3412SRB, TLP3412SRHB, and TLP3412SRLB. The devices are housed in the small S-VSON4T package measuring 1.45 mm × 2.0 mm (typical), with a maximum thickness of 1.4 mm, and feature a maximum operating temperature rating of 135°C. Volume shipments began on the announcement date.

The photorelays target applications in automotive semiconductor testing environments, including semiconductor testers for memories, SoC, and LSI devices, probe cards, and burn-in equipment. These applications require high-density component mounting in limited board space and reliable operation at elevated temperatures due to trends in electrification and autonomous driving.
The 135°C rating represents an increase from the 125°C maximum of previous models (TLP3407SRA, TLP3412SRA, TLP3412SRHA, and TLP3412SRLA), achieved through optimized design of internal elements. As voltage-driven devices with built-in input resistors, they eliminate the need for external resistors, reducing board space requirements.
All four devices feature a 1-Form-A (normally open) contact configuration and an isolation voltage of 500 Vrms (minimum, AC, 60 seconds). Absolute maximum ratings include an OFF-state output terminal voltage of 60 V and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 135°C.
Key differences among the models include:
TLP3407SRB: ON-state current 1 A (3 A pulsed), typical input forward voltage 3.3 V, maximum ON-state resistance 0.3 Ω, maximum turn-on time 10 ms (at VIN=3.3 V), maximum output capacitance 150 pF.
TLP3412SRB: ON-state current 0.4 A (1.2 A pulsed), typical input forward voltage 3.3 V, maximum ON-state resistance 1.5 Ω, maximum turn-on time 1 ms (at VIN=3.3 V), maximum output capacitance 20 pF.
TLP3412SRHB: ON-state current 0.4 A (1.2 A pulsed), typical input forward voltage 5 V, maximum limited LED current 2 mA (at VIN=5.5 V, Ta=135°C), maximum turn-on time 1.5 ms (at VIN=5.0 V), maximum output capacitance 20 pF.
TLP3412SRLB: ON-state current 0.4 A (1.2 A pulsed), typical input forward voltage 1.8 V, maximum limited LED current 10 mA (at VIN=1.8 V, Ta=135°C), maximum turn-on time 0.1 ms (at VIN=3.3 V) or 0.3 ms (at VIN=1.8 V), maximum output capacitance 20 pF.
Additional electrical characteristics shared across the devices include maximum OFF-state current of 1 nA (at VOFF=50 V) and various turn-off times depending on the model and input voltage.
