Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., through its Snapdragon brand, announced a sponsorship of Mission 44, a global foundation led by Sir Lewis Hamilton. The collaboration aims to provide students with access, education, and skills for careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as part of Mission 44’s Fueling Futures initiative, where Qualcomm Technologies is a founding sponsor.

Mission 44 focuses on enabling students to succeed in education and pursue STEM careers. A recent Mission 44 survey found that 26% of students felt left behind in their studies due to limited access to technology or the internet. The partnership aligns with Snapdragon’s goal to bridge the digital divide by providing technological resources.
The multi-year collaboration will involve joint storytelling, technology grants, and opportunities to increase global visibility for Mission 44. Snapdragon’s mobile computing solutions, used in billions of devices worldwide, will provide Mission 44, its partners, and students with tools and resources for digital success.
Don McGuire, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Qualcomm Incorporated, stated that the collaboration supports Snapdragon’s mission to connect people with technology and create opportunities for students. Jason Arthur, Chief Executive Officer of Mission 44, noted that the partnership addresses barriers to technology, education, and STEM careers, aiming to help students from all socioeconomic backgrounds succeed in future industries.
