SINTRONES Technology, a provider of rugged industrial and edge AI computing solutions, will showcase edge AI computing platforms for machine vision, automated optical inspection (AOI), and semiconductor inspection at VISION 2026, held at October 6-8 at Messe Stuttgart, Hall 8, Booth 8D14.
From high-density GPU systems to compact edge AI platforms, SINTRONES offers scalable computing designed for high-resolution defect detection, AOI, 3D vision, and multi-camera image processing across semiconductor, electronics, and precision manufacturing applications.
As semiconductors and electronic components continue shrinking and inspection requirements become more demanding, machine vision systems increasingly need to process higher-resolution images and detect subtle defects while keeping pace with production speed. The growing use of AI, deep learning, and 3D vision in inspection is accelerating this shift, placing greater demands on computing performance, data throughput, thermal management, and overall system reliability.
Kevin Hsu, CEO of SINTRONES, said that as semiconductor inspection moves toward higher resolution and more sophisticated AI models, computing performance alone is no longer sufficient. He said sustained performance, thermal stability, and high-speed image processing are becoming equally important, and that the company's goal is to provide the computing foundation that lets machine vision developers process more visual data, run more complex AI models, and make inspection decisions in real time.
On the hardware side, the ABOX-5221(P)(G)-IP66 combines Intel Core Series 2 processors, optional Intel Arc GPU acceleration, dual 10GbE and four 2.5GbE network ports with optional Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), IP66-rated protection against dust and water, and up to 96GB of DDR5 memory, suited to high-resolution inspection and multi-camera image processing. For more compute-intensive vision workloads, the ABOX-5221(P)(G)-LC uses SINTRONES' patented fanless, pumpless phase-change liquid cooling system, offering up to five times the thermal efficiency of conventional cooling and helping sustain performance without the system throttling itself down due to heat. Making its debut at VISION 2026, the ABOX-5222E adds dual PCIe x16 expansion slots, allowing for scalable GPU and vision hardware expansion as AI inspection workloads grow over time.
SINTRONES will also demonstrate compact edge AI platforms built for real-time 3D and multi-camera vision, including the IBOX-604-G2, which uses dual GMSL2 camera interfaces for object detection and distance estimation, and the rugged IBOX-601-M12X, which supports four GMSL2 camera interfaces for multi-camera AI inference and industrial inspection, supporting deployment that can scale from early proof-of-concept testing up to demanding industrial environments.
