Qatar Airways Cargo has added Van Riemsdijk Rotterdam’s (VRR) specialised RGX and RZY containers to its portfolio to support the transportation of advanced capital equipment within the semiconductor industry. The climate-controlled containers form part of the carrier’s TechLift transport services for cutting-edge semiconductor equipment.
VRR’s RZY (16ft) and RGX (20ft) containers are purpose-built for the secure transport of semiconductor fabrication machinery and related equipment. Both container types are equipped with advanced climate-control systems and enhanced shock-absorption technology. The containers are fully certified for carriage on the main decks of Qatar Airways Cargo’s Boeing 777 freighters.
Through strategic partnerships with industry leaders, Qatar Airways Cargo has strengthened its TechLift product offering for the secure transport and on-time delivery of critical semiconductor technologies, supporting the global semiconductor supply chain.
