GSOC Solutions, an ASIC development center based in Tel-Aviv, Israel, and Andes Technology (TWSE: 6533), a supplier of RISC-V processor cores, have announced a strategic partnership. The agreement integrates Andes’ full range of RISC-V CPU IP into GSOC’s Ocean platform, a configurable SoC and chiplet infrastructure framework. This expands the available CPU options for customers developing next-generation silicon, including for the Physical AI market.

GSOC Solutions will incorporate Andes’ licensable RISC-V cores into the Ocean platform. The cores include the efficient 20-series and 25-series, the vector-capable 40-series, and the out-of-order 60-series. The Ocean platform is a reusable and scalable framework for designing complex SoCs and chiplet-based systems. The integration provides pre-verified RISC-V cores, enabling customers to select compute solutions suited to their applications.

The partnership aims to reduce design risk and accelerate time-to-market by offering a broader selection of CPU options alongside GSOC’s existing RISC-V core.

“Our mission is to provide the most robust and flexible infrastructure for the next generation of modular silicon, and this partnership with Andes Technology is a cornerstone of that strategy,” said Itai Nader, Founder and CEO of GSOC Solutions. “Flexibility is at the heart of the Ocean platform. To further that mission, we are expanding our CPU options by integrating Andes’ portfolio alongside our existing RISC-V core. This partnership provides our customers with a range of choice, allowing them to select the ideal compute engine from trusted, market-proven options. This enables them to build products for markets such as automotive, data center, and Physical AI.”

The collaboration addresses demand for flexible, production-ready RISC-V solutions. GSOC’s chiplet-ready Ocean platform combined with Andes’ RISC-V IP portfolio offers a path for system architects and silicon developers to implement compute performance matched to their requirements.

“The RISC-V ecosystem thrives on collaboration that provides customers with both innovation and choice,” said Al Lin, overseas sales VP of Andes Technology. “GSOC’s expertise in configurable SoC and chiplet integration is a complement to our portfolio of production-proven RISC-V cores. This partnership makes it easier for companies to adopt RISC-V with the assurance that they are building on a scalable and flexible foundation.”

The expanded CPU portfolio is available immediately for new and existing GSOC Solutions customers. Customers can engage with GSOC and Andes to license Andes RISC-V cores as part of Ocean platform design engagements.
