Dr. Ravi Bhatkal, Vice President of Strategy at MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business of Element Solutions Inc, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (INEMI) as part of the organization’s 2026 Board.
Bhatkal will serve alongside the consortium’s other board members. In the role, he will help guide INEMI’s strategic direction and support its mission to advance innovation across the global electronics manufacturing supply chain.
INEMI is an industry-led consortium that brings together manufacturers, suppliers, universities, research institutes, industry associations, consortia, and government agencies. The group works to identify technology needs, address gaps, and accelerate the adoption of new technologies through collaboration.
Bhatkal has served in various leadership roles at INEMI over the last two decades, including as a Board Member, Technical Committee Member, Chair or Co-Chair of several INEMI Technology Roadmaps, and Project Leader. At MacDermid Alpha, he has contributed to the company’s strategic direction and its engagement with the broader electronics manufacturing industry.
