Bosch Limited Intends to Acquire Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited to Add Vehicle Motion Business

Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited is described as one of the market leaders in automotive safety systems in India. After the acquisition, it will continue to operate as an independent entity, with governance driven by Bosch Limited.

The boards of the Bosch Group, Bosch Limited, and Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited have approved the transaction. The deal remains subject to approval from Bosch Limited shareholders. Upon approval, Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited will become a 100 percent subsidiary of Bosch Limited.

Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of the Bosch Group in India and Managing Director of Bosch Limited, stated that adding the Vehicle Motion solutions business demonstrates the company’s belief in enhancing growth through portfolio diversification and solidifies its presence in mobility.

Sandeep Nelamangala, Joint Managing Director of Bosch Limited and President of Bosch Mobility India, noted that the mobility landscape in India is expected to evolve significantly by 2030 and beyond with sustainable, safe, and exciting technologies. He said the transaction supports a shift toward integrated platform solutions and allows Bosch Limited to drive growth with a wider portfolio across the mobility tech stack.

The move is intended to create and enhance long-term value for Bosch Limited by reinforcing its position as a provider of solutions across vehicle systems, software, and hardware.
