Global Semiconductor Sales Rise 25.1% Year-to-Year in September Amid Q3 Growth

John Neuffer, SIA president and CEO, stated that market growth was driven by demand for memory and logic products, with year-to-year increases fueled by sales in the Asia Pacific region and the Americas.

Year-to-year sales in September increased in Asia Pacific/All Other (47.9%), Americas (30.6%), China (15.0%), and Europe (6.0%), but decreased in Japan (-10.2%).

Month-to-month sales from August to September rose in Americas (8.2%), Asia Pacific/All Other (8.0%), China (6.0%), Europe (5.5%), and Japan (1.6%).
