STMicroelectronics India has announced a significant leadership change, with Mr. Anand Kumar appointed as the new Managing Director, succeeding Mr. Vivek Sharma, who has retired after 34 years of service.

Mr. Sharma’s tenure was marked by strengthening STMicroelectronics’ position in the Indian market, contributing to the company’s overall growth and innovation, and fostering a domestic market for its products.
Mr. Kumar, based at the company’s headquarters in Greater Noida, brings extensive experience in leadership, innovation, and product development, with a proven track record of driving growth in the technology sector. His expertise in managing large-scale transformations is expected to support STMicroelectronics India in advancing its strategic objectives. Anand Kumar is also Global Head at STMicroelectronics for its IP and Library Design.
