Navitas Semiconductor Appoints Chris Allexandre as CEO to Drive AI Data Center and Energy Infrastructure Growth
GaN and SiC device expert Navitas Semiconductor has named Chris Allexandre as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2025. Allexandre will also join the company’s Board of Directors, succeeding Gene Sheridan, a Navitas founder, who will step down as President, CEO, and board member on August 31, 2025.
Richard J. Hendrix, Chairman of Navitas’ Board of Directors, stated that Allexandre’s appointment comes at a critical time for the company. He highlighted Allexandre’s experience in driving transformation, operational excellence, and growth in power semiconductor markets, positioning him to lead Navitas into its next phase of electrification in AI data centers, energy infrastructure, and industrial markets suited for GaN and SiC solutions. Hendrix also acknowledged Sheridan’s role in founding and leading Navitas for over a decade, noting his contributions to the company’s succession planning.
Sheridan, reflecting on his 11-year tenure, expressed pride in building Navitas as a next-generation, pure-play power semiconductor company and confidence in Allexandre’s ability to advance the company’s mission to electrify industries.
