Nokia’s Data Center Fabric Solution to Enhance Connectivity for Empyrion Digital’s Gangnam Data Center
Nokia has been selected by Empyrion Digital, a digital infrastructure provider in Asia, to deploy its data center gateway and aggregation switches at Empyrion’s Gangnam Data Center (GDC) in Seoul, Korea. The partnership aims to support Empyrion’s network scalability and operational needs in response to growing data traffic in the Asia region.
Nokia’s IP network solution includes the 7250 Interconnect Router (IXR) for data center gateways and core network switches, and the 7210 Service Access System (SAS) for access switching in Empyrion’s IT systems. The deployment is designed to improve reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency for Empyrion’s data center interconnect network, catering to hyperscale and enterprise colocation companies.
Empyrion Digital develops and operates data centers across key Asian cities. The collaboration leverages Nokia’s regional presence and supply chain to facilitate network upgrades in multiple countries. The solution supports automation to streamline network operations.
