Zetwerk Electronics, a division of Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses, broke ground on its eighth manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. This follows the opening of its largest electronics plant near Chennai three months prior, part of a Rs 1,000 crore investment.
The new Bengaluru facility, situated in Devanahalli, will support production for high-growth sectors, including industrials, telecom, automotive, consumer durables, and strategic electronics. It is designed to scale production to two devices per second across Zetwerk’s Indian facilities, which also include sites in Noida, Gurugram, and Chennai. The company plans to hire over 2,000 employees for the Bengaluru site.

Zetwerk operates as a managed marketplace for contract manufacturing, handling processes from supplier selection to order fulfillment. The groundbreaking ceremony marked a step toward supporting India’s goal of a $500 billion Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) economy.
Josh Foulger, President of Zetwerk Electronics, stated that the investment enhances the company’s ability to provide manufacturing solutions for critical industries. Co-founder Rahul Sharma noted that Bengaluru’s talent pool and innovation ecosystem make it an ideal location for the facility, aiming to improve speed, scale, and precision for customers.
