Bharat Forge owned Kalyani Powertrain is expanding in electronics manufacturing by entering into server manufacturing market. Kalyani Powertrain is partnering with AMD to make servers using AMD EPYC processors. It is also reported that Kalyani Powertrain is partnering with Taiwan based electronics and computer manufacturer Compal to manufacture servers in India.
Compal to provide technology support, and oversee production of Kalyani Powertrain' made in India servers to address the local digital infrastructure market. The technology and design support from AMD and manufacturing know-how from Compal to help Kalyani Powertrain to establish in this market in robust way.
Kalyani Powertrain is already into high power DC/DC converters used in EV automotives and such high power applications.
