HARMAN, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., specializing in connected technologies for automotive, consumer, and enterprise markets, announced that its Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit has joined the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA).
HARMAN’s membership allows collaboration with partners and customers to support technology development and adoption in the semiconductor industry. The company will participate in the GSA’s Trusted IoT Ecosystem Security (TIES), Artificial Intelligence, and Automotive interest groups to address industry challenges, promote best practices, and influence global standards.
David Owens, Senior Vice President of HARMAN’s Digital Transformation Solutions, stated that the GSA membership will enable partnerships and allow HARMAN to share expertise in smart product engineering, silicon, embedded technology, and data analytics. Jodi Shelton, co-founder and CEO of GSA, noted that HARMAN DTS’s industry knowledge will contribute to GSA events, interest groups, and resources, supporting the global semiconductor ecosystem.
