Vaishnaw highlighted India’s electronics manufacturing growth, with production increasing five-fold and exports rising over six-fold since 2014, achieving a production CAGR of 17% and export CAGR exceeding 20%. He stressed the importance of Six Sigma quality standards and urged companies to establish design teams to drive innovation. The minister noted that the ECMS will integrate Indian firms into global value chains and boost domestic value addition.

The launch event drew over 200 participants, including government officials, domestic and global industry leaders, embassy representatives, and financial institutions. MeitY Secretary S Krishnan emphasized the scheme’s goal of establishing India as a global electronics manufacturing hub. Industry leaders commended the efficient execution of MeitY’s Production-Linked Incentive schemes.
