Lip Bu Tan, a business leader who know the breadth and depth of electronics and semiconductor industry is appointed as CEO of Intel. He led the EDA company Cadence for long duration driving its growth. He also invested in range of semiconductor startups. He is a founding managing partner of Walden Catalyst Ventures and chairman of Walden International.
Tan holds a Bachelor of Science in physics from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, a Master of Science in nuclear engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. In 2022, he received the Robert N. Noyce Award, the Semiconductor Industry Association’s highest honor.
His practical thinking, connections, knowledge, and leadership qualities can bring Intel back to growth.
