Emerson will recognize more than 100 St. Louis-area educators through its 2026 Excellence in Teaching Awards, honoring their dedication to students and school communities.
The annual program recognizes instructors across the St. Louis metropolitan area who are selected by their school administrations for exceptional dedication to students and their school communities. Emerson has sponsored the program since it began in 1989
Akberet Boykin Farr, vice president of human resources – corporate functions at Emerson, said: “Educators have a unique opportunity to directly change the lives of their students. When a teacher goes above and beyond in their role, their students not only learn, but also receive encouragement to explore their passions and become better versions of themselves. Congratulations to all honorees on this much-deserved recognition.”
The 2026 awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 22. Each educator will receive an engraved crystal apple keepsake and a certificate of achievement. Emerson has posted the complete list of 2026 award recipients on its website.
