Bourns announced the MH3261-T Series High Current Chip Ferrite Beads, designed for EMI suppression in high-density PCB layouts where current capacity and board space are limited. The series features a compact 3.2 × 1.6 × 1.1 mm footprint and supports rated currents up to 11 A with low DC resistance (as low as 0.0025 Ω). It offers impedance values from 30 Ω to 1000 Ω at 100 MHz (±25 %) for broadband noise suppression.

The components operate over a temperature range of –55 °C to +125 °C and are RoHS compliant and halogen free.
“High-density power require ferrite beads that can carry substantial current without compromising impedance or thermal margin,” said Edward Liu, Product Line Manager, Component Magnetics, Bourns. “The MH3261-T Series was developed to provide low DC resistance and rated current up to 11 A in a compact footprint, helping designers manage EMI in constrained layouts while maintaining operating stability over the full –55 °C to +125 °C temperature range.”
Target applications include EMI suppression in power supply rails, power lines, high-density PCB assemblies requiring low insertion loss, and power distribution paths in compact electronic systems.
The MH3261-T Series High Current Chip Ferrite Beads are available now through Bourns’ authorized distribution network.
