Keysight introduced the Smart Bench Essentials Plus, a portfolio of core bench instruments including a power supply, waveform generator, digital multimeter, and oscilloscope. These instruments are designed to meet the demands of complex electronic designs with multiple input/output variables, strict interoperability requirements, and rigorous conformance standards. Tested to comply with ISO/IEC 17025, IEC61010, and CSA standards, the portfolio supports development engineers in design, testing, troubleshooting, and qualification tasks.
The Smart Bench Essentials Plus features Truevolt technology with a custom ASIC and 14-bit ADC to minimize measurement errors from real-world factors, providing low-noise performance. The instruments include intuitive, color-coordinated interfaces and standardized menus, along with built-in graphical charting tools for simplified visualization and analysis. Included software supports configuration, control, and automation to reduce validation time.
The portfolio offers a low-noise floor oscilloscope, high signal integrity waveform generators, and responsive DC power supplies, addressing the need for precise measurements in complex designs. Carol Leh, Vice President of Keysight’s Electronic Industrial Solutions Group Center of Excellence, stated that the integrated solution focuses on automation and ease of use to deliver accurate insights and faster product development.
