MediaTek achieves long reach 224G SerDes for its ASICs

At the recently held OCP Global Summit, MediaTek, an industry leader in ASIC with more than 1 billion units shipped and over 70 product tape-outs demonstrated its silicon proven long reach 224G SerDes, marking a significant leap forward in performance, reliability, and efficiency for the highest-performance ASIC applications. The 224G SerDes extends MediaTek’s portfolio, which includes 56G and 112G ASIC, Retimers and AEC (Active Electrical Cable) solutions. Featuring extensive IP, a comprehensive ecosystem and supply-chain expertise, MediaTek offers ASIC technology that’s ready to meet the most demanding requirements of high-performance compute, acceleration, and transport applications. This ASIC technology includes leading-edge 2.5D multichip and advanced packaging technologies, industry-standard UCIe interconnect, PCI-Express 7.0, and HBM4 at 12Gbps.
