TYLsemi Emerges From Stealth With $43 Million to Build Full-Stack Chiplet Platform for AI Silicon

TYLsemi emerged from stealth today, announcing the close of an oversubscribed $43 million early-stage funding round to accelerate development of AI infrastructure. The company positions itself as the first chiplet platform provider to offer a full portfolio spanning IO, power delivery, and memory, paired with chiplet-based custom silicon design, integration, and supply-chain ownership. Its standards-based, production-ready portfolio is intended to give AI infrastructure customers a faster, lower-risk path for developing AI silicon, from initial architecture through deployment.

The funding round was led by Matter Venture Partners, with participation from Viola Ventures, GHOVC, Egis Technology, and strategic backing from companies across the global semiconductor and AI infrastructure ecosystem. TYLsemi was co-founded by Mohit Gupta and Sunil Bhardwaj, both of whom have previously led and scaled engineering and operations teams at companies including Alphawave (acquired by Qualcomm), SiFive, Cadence Design Systems, Rambus, and other major semiconductor firms.
