The Light Emitting Diode(LED) in the past was very limited
to indication purpose only. With the advanced research in
optoelectronics companies have come up with LEDs for lighting
purpose.
It's called White LED; emitting bright white light with a
tinge of blue. It's properties are quite different from non-white
LEDs.
The White LED is made of a material called Indium Gallium
Nitride.
