Eaton Collaborates with Flexnode to Expand Modular Data Center Infrastructure for AI Workloads
Eaton, an intelligent power management company, is collaborating with Flexnode, a digital infrastructure company, to deliver modular, scalable rack and power infrastructure for data center compute applications in the U.S. Eaton will supply critical power backup, racks, and cable management technologies for Flexnode’s modules. These modules enable data centers to reduce deployment schedules by 35% on average. Eaton also led Flexnode’s Series A funding round to support acceleration of its data center infrastructure approach.
The collaboration addresses large-scale data center buildouts reaching gigawatt-level power demands, requiring efficient, scalable solutions for high-density power, cooling, and compute infrastructure. Eaton contributes complete systems that support modular, cost-effective production and reduce time to build and onsite labor.
The partnership expands Eaton’s modular offerings in the U.S., incorporating its Fibrebond business’ pre-integrated enclosures for data center power infrastructure.
As AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and quantum workloads increase rack densities beyond one megawatt, the modular strategy provides IT and power infrastructure that is efficient, adaptive to dynamic load profiles, and supports scalable, repeatable builds across locations.
