Schneider Electric Introduces StarCharge Fast 720 High-Power EV Charger for Commercial and Fleet Use

Schneider Electric has launched the Schneider StarCharge Fast 720, a high-power electric vehicle (EV) charging system targeted at commercial and industrial sites as well as fleet operators.

The system provides up to 720 kW of power and supports simultaneous charging of up to 12 vehicles. It is designed to address increasing demand for eMobility infrastructure across Europe.

The charger achieves 97% efficiency and incorporates dynamic load management to accommodate different vehicle types, including e-trucks, buses, and passenger cars.

Its decentralized architecture allows up to six dispensers to be placed within an 80-meter radius of the power cabinet. This setup enables flexible configurations, reduces the number of required grid connections, simplifies installation, and lowers operational noise levels.

The solution includes full lifecycle support, covering installation, customized maintenance plans, 24/7 assistance, and remote monitoring through Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Energy Asset Portal. These elements aim to maintain high uptime and control costs for operators.
