TCS and AMD Forge Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Enterprise AI Scale and GenAI Deployment

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced a strategic collaboration with AMD aimed at assisting enterprises in scaling AI adoption from pilot projects to full production, modernizing legacy systems, and establishing secure, high-performance digital workplaces.

The partnership focuses on joint development of industry-specific AI and generative AI (GenAI) solutions. It combines TCS’s domain knowledge, systems integration expertise, and global innovation network with AMD’s high-performance computing and AI product lineup. The companies intend to support enterprises in updating hybrid cloud and edge infrastructures, implementing AI-powered workplace tools, and advancing innovation for workloads spanning cloud to edge.

TCS plans to quickly train and certify its workforce on AMD’s latest hardware and software technologies. Both organizations will invest jointly in talent development to establish a substantial group of specialists capable of co-innovating and delivering future AI solutions.

The collaboration includes creation of sector-specific GenAI frameworks targeting:
- Life sciences, with emphasis on drug discovery
- Manufacturing, covering cognitive quality engineering and smart manufacturing
- Banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI), focused on intelligent risk management
