QuickLogic Receives Orders for Strategic Radiation Hardened FPGA Development Kit on 12nm Process

QuickLogic Corporation  announced it has received orders for its Strategic Radiation Hardened FPGA Development Kit (SRH FPGA Dev Kit). The development kits include Strategic Radiation Hardened FPGA test chips that QuickLogic funded and had fabricated on GlobalFoundries' 12 nm process technology. Delivery of the SRH FPGA Dev Kits is scheduled for late in the first quarter of 2026.

Brian Faith, President and CEO of QuickLogic, stated that the company is announcing the first orders for the SRH FPGA Dev Kit. He noted that the SRH FPGA test chip in these kits was designed to meet requirements of certain large Defense Industrial Base customers with active programs. Faith indicated that this investment aims to increase the likelihood of securing designs for discrete Strategic Radiation Hardened FPGAs and to demonstrate QuickLogic's capability for embedded Strategic Radiation Hardened FPGA technology in ASIC designs.

QuickLogic develops embedded FPGA (eFPGA) Hard IP, Strategic Radiation Hardened, antifuse, and ruggedized FPGAs, along with endpoint AI solutions. The company operates as a fabless semiconductor provider, combining technology with open-source tools for low-power, customizable solutions in industrial, aerospace, consumer, and computing markets.
