Global Semiconductor Sales Reach Record $75.3 Billion in November 2025, Surging 29.8% Year-Over-Year
The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) reported on January 8, 2026, that global semiconductor sales totaled $75.3 billion in November 2025. This figure represents the highest monthly sales total ever recorded by the industry.
Sales rose 29.8% from $58.0 billion in November 2024 and increased 3.5% from $72.7 billion in October 2025. The data, compiled by the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) organization, are presented as a three-month moving average.
John Neuffer, president and CEO of SIA, stated that November delivered the industry’s highest-ever monthly sales total, with demand growing across all major product categories on a month-to-month basis. He noted that the global chip market is projected to expand substantially in 2026, reaching nearly $1 trillion in annual sales.
