DigiKey Announces Winners of ElectronicWings IoT + AI Project Design Challenge 2025 with ₹6 Lakh in Prizes

DigiKey, a global distributor of electronic components and automation products, announced the winners of the ElectronicWings IoT + AI Project Design Challenge 2025. The contest invited makers and students in India to submit innovative IoT- and AI-focused projects for a share of prizes and development boards valued at ₹6,00,000.

The challenge received 631 submissions from 1,551 participants. A total of 50 projects were shortlisted based on criteria including potential for social impact, technical innovation, and creativity. DigiKey supplied hardware development boards from multiple suppliers to these top 50 projects to support prototype development. The provided boards included Analog Devices’ MAX78000 FEATHER BOARD, Arduino’s UNO R4 WIFI, and Espressif Systems’ ESP32-C6-DEVKITC-1-N8.

The contest sponsorship aligns with DigiKey’s support for India’s engineering community through access to technical resources such as design tools, application notes, reference designs, and educational content.
