Fabio Gualandris, President Quality, Manufacturing and Technology of STMicroelectronics, stated that deploying automation and robotics solutions at scale is a key parameter for long-term competitiveness in advanced manufacturing. He described humanoids integration as the next frontier, adding that Oversonic's cognitive humanoid robots support complex tasks, enable management of complex manufacturing flows for new products, enhance product quality, and shorten cycle times. These capabilities cooperate with industrial automation and agentics-based software systems to increase employee safety, service continuity, and overall efficiency.

Under the agreement, Oversonic Robotics will collaborate with STMicroelectronics at CES to conduct live demonstrations of the RoBee humanoid robot and applications developed for advanced production and manufacturing contexts. The demonstration serves as the international launch of the collaboration, with involvement from robotic systems engineering and automation experts from both companies.
