Global Electronics Association Names Hisashi Kitajima Japan Representative Effective January 2026
The Global Electronics Association announced the appointment of Hisashi Kitajima as its Japan Representative, effective January 1, 2026.
In this role, Kitajima will support the Association’s activities in Japan, with a focus on stakeholder engagement, ecosystem development, and strategic growth initiatives. Based in Tokyo and working with the existing team, he will collaborate with member companies, industry partners, and relevant organizations to strengthen Japan’s engagement with the global electronics community and deliver value to the Association’s members in Japan.
Kitajima has more than 20 years of experience in global marketing, strategy consulting, and business development. His previous roles include senior positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Ogilvy Group, along with advisory and leadership positions supporting Japanese and multinational companies in the electronics, automotive, and industrial sectors.
