Intel Announces Senior Leadership Changes in Government Affairs, Marketing, Communications, and Advanced Technology
Intel Corporation announced senior leadership appointments in government affairs, marketing and communications, and advanced technology strategy.
Robin Colwell has joined Intel as senior vice president of government affairs. She will lead global engagement with policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders, focusing on policy, trade, national security, and government opportunities. Colwell will be based in Washington, D.C. She most recently served as deputy assistant to President Donald J. Trump and deputy director of the National Economic Council. Previously, she advised clients on telecommunications, technology, and cybersecurity policy at the BGR Group.
Colwell's appointment follows that of James Chew as vice president of Intel Government Technologies. Chew will work closely with Colwell.
Annie Shea Weckesser has been appointed senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer. She will lead the integrated global marketing and communications organization, handling corporate reputation, brand strategy, and market engagement. Weckesser joins from SambaNova, where she was chief marketing officer. She previously led U.S. marketing and communications at NIO Inc. and held global roles at Cisco. She will be based in Santa Clara.
