Qualcomm and CP Plus Collaborate on AI Video Security Solutions for India

CP PLUS and Qualcomm announced a collaboration to introduce AI-enabled video security solutions using Qualcomm Dragonwing processors and the Qualcomm Insight Platform integrated with CP PLUS products.

The collaboration combines CP PLUS product ecosystem and distribution network with Qualcomm on-device AI and edge-processing capabilities to provide video management systems with real-time analytics through edge boxes. The solutions target enterprises, industry, home, institutional, and public infrastructure sectors.

Abhishek Singh, DG NIC & Additional Secretary-MeitY & CEO-India AI Mission, stated that the collaboration integrates advanced AI and edge-processing in India’s security sector and combines Qualcomm technology with CP PLUS market presence.

Aditya Khemka, Managing Director, CP PLUS, stated that the collaboration combines CP PLUS industry leadership with on-device AI technology to build video intelligence solutions.

Nakul Duggal, EVP & Group General Manager, Automotive, Industrial & Embedded IoT and Robotics, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., stated that the collaboration combines the Qualcomm Insight Platform with CP PLUS industry footprint in India to deliver real-time insights and shift video security to insight-driven management.
