Murata Releases LTCC Integrated Passive Device for Semtech SX1261/SX1262 LoRa Connect Radios

Murata has developed an integrated passive device (IPD) using low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology for Semtech’s LoRa Connect SX126x family (SX1261, SX1262, and LLCC68).

The IPD replaces the discrete matching components in the SX1261/SX1262 reference design with a single 2.00 mm × 1.25 mm component.

Two variants are available:
- LFB21892MDZ7F957 – optimized for US and European ISM bands, supports full output power for US FCC bands
- LFB21892MDZ7F821 – optimized for maximum efficiency in European-centric designs

The device is compatible with Semtech LoRaWAN networks and long-range IoT applications including smart metering and industrial sensing.

Product samples are available now, with mass production starting shortly.
