SEMICON Europa 2025 to Focus on AI, Sustainability, and Global Collaboration for Semiconductor Resilience
SEMI announced that SEMICON Europa 2025, co-located with productronica, will take place in Munich, Germany, from November 18-21, marking its 50th anniversary. The event will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to strengthen Europe’s role in the global semiconductor landscape, with registration now open.
Themed “Global Collaborations for European Economic Resilience,” the program will address innovations and trends in sustainability, mobility, materials, packaging, fab management, and workforce development. Laith Altimime, President of SEMI Europe, emphasized the importance of global collaboration for economic resilience and sustainable growth.
The CxO Summit will feature executives from Arm France, Comet, European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC), Exyte, Fraunhofer IISB, GlobalFoundries, imec, Institute of Microelectronics, Schneider Electric, and STMicroelectronics, discussing strategies and partnerships to shape Europe’s microelectronics industry. The ITF Chip into the Future session, led by imec, will explore how EU Chips Act initiatives, such as the NanoIC project, drive economic and societal impact through advancements in advanced logic nodes, 3D integration, and integrated photonics, while addressing supply chain and talent gaps.
