SEMICON Taiwan 2025 Highlights AI and Advanced Packaging with Jim Keller and Dr. Chih-Tay Shih

SEMI announced that SEMICON Taiwan 2025, set to take place in Taipei Sep 8–12, 2025, will feature Tenstorrent CEO Jim Keller at the CEO Summit and Dr. Chih-Tay Shih at the SEMI 20 Under 40 Awards Ceremony and Tech Master Forum. The event will focus on the semiconductor industry’s role in the AI era, bringing together global leaders to discuss innovation and future trends.

At the CEO Summit, Jim Keller will deliver a keynote on technologies shaping computing’s future, followed by a fireside chat on Taiwan’s role in the global semiconductor landscape, co-moderated by Dr. Tien Wu, CEO of ASE and Chair of the SEMI International Board Executive Committee, and Cliff Hou, Chairman of TSIA. Panelists include Keller and Jochen Hanebeck, CEO of Infineon. Dr. Chih-Tay Shih, a key figure in Taiwan’s semiconductor development through his work at ITRI and contributions to establishing UMC, TSMC, and VIS, will share insights on Taiwan’s supply chain and its foundation for the AI era. The Tech Masters Forum will also feature Professor Y-W Peter Hong of NSTC, GC Hung, Senior VP of UMC, and Emily Hong, Chair and Chief Strategy Officer of Wiwynn Corporation.
