Belden  announced new products designed for secure and reliable performance in critical applications. The releases include solutions for data acquisition, transmission, orchestration, and management.
For data acquisition and transmission, Belden introduced the FiberExpress XHD Fiber Patch Panel System, available in 1U, 2U, and 4U variants, to support fiber densification and migration to 40G, 100G, 200G, and 400G networks. Belden also launched EN-IEC rated LSZH RS485 AWG18 cables, which enable longer RS-485 runs with reduced voltage drop, higher current for powered devices, and compliance with standards like BACnet MS/TP for industrial applications. Lumberg Automation’s redesigned M12 Power Solution provides power connections for harsh environments, featuring extended shielding technology for durability, flexibility, and high current handling. Additionally, Belden Armored Fire Alarm Cables are designed with protective materials for industrial applications where armoring can replace conduit.
For data orchestration and management, Hirschmann’s EAGLE40-03 HiSecOS v05.2.00 firewall software includes DPI enforcer modules for Siemens S7 and S7 Plus protocols, among others. Hirschmann RPSS Power Supplies offer up to 480 W of power output for industries such as process manufacturing, material handling, and machine building. The Hirschmann SPIDER III family now includes 5-port and 8-port SPIDER-SL variants with a built-in Quality of Service function to enhance data transmission reliability for EtherNet/IP or PROFINET applications under Conformance Class A. Hirschmann Industrial HiVision version 8.6 introduces a new licensing option for software delivery and registration, along with permissions granularity to limit user access to external application configurations. The PROVIZE Planner Suite 1.10 adds extended cable planning, network visualization PDF exports, and new role and device definitions to differentiate endpoints and devices. CloudRail.OS software now supports a Docker container, enabling full functionality on various hardware or in data centers.
